The boy who loved caterpillars

Once upon a time there was a little boy. He loved caterpillars. All year long he would ask when the caterpillars were going to comeback. He was so excited when he found his first one. He could keep himself entertained for hours studying them and playing with them. In the boy's yard there were two trees that tent caterpillars liked to come to. The little boy liked to take the caterpillars from one tree to the other tree.
He let them crawl all over him on the way to their new home.
When he arrived at their new home he would gently
Gently
Oh So Gently place them in their new tent.
And the boy was very proud.
Excuse the hair.... He must have had a real good nap :)

Family Fun

As I said before, we stayed in town for Spring Break. Although Nut wasn't on spring break she and Jerms thought it would be fun to invite everyone over for a cookout. They brought a brand new grill and wanted to try it out. Jerms is a GREAT cook. I have yet to have something that he cooked that wasn't delicious. He said that he hadn't really ever cooked on a grill, so it was all brand new to him.
He made 5 kinds of burgers including Gooey Louies, some wrapped in bacon, regular burgers, turkey burgers, and teriyaki burgers..... and some hot dogs too! Feel free to enjoy the process from beginning to end.....

While the food was cooking everyone enjoyed using Nut's Christmas present.... The Basketball goal. Patton enjoyed watching everyone, and even had a visit from Maverick.
Like the mohawk? ;) The food was yummy, as expected, we had a wonderful time and ended the evening with smores by the fire. Fun times with the fam :)

Weekend Recap

Party Jumps business has been in FULL swing since the middle of Feb. Most weekends we are working all weekend long. We were supposed to have an event at Norcross High School this past Saturday, but it was canceled due to not having the right permits..... Hmmmm Someone wasn't prepared, but you're not hearing me complain! It was Really Really nice to have the whole day off to do anything we wanted to do. Plus it was absolutly beautiful. We spent a LONG time at Harbins park. Love that park!
We finally decided to leave when both boys cheeks were so red I couldn't stand it any more. On the way to the car we ran into our next door neighbors. Micah was so sad that we couldn't stay to play with Bryce and Ashlyn :(
After a good 10 minutes of being in the car, everyone had cooled off. Little did we know, but Stacy had plans. We used over a half of tank of gas and drove all over the place...... Looking at houses!
Stacy and I chose the house that we live in 7 years ago when we got married. It's a sweet
little house perfect for 2. We live in a neighborhood, but it is very small. We have 1 1/2 acres. The yard is perfect, the house..... not so much. It is just too small. I know this is far from a sellers market, and I KNOW that we wouldn't even be able to break even. We have made SO many upgrades to our humble abode, but when the prices in the area decline, everything does. We've thought about selling, we've thought about possibly renting it out. I'm not a picky person. I'd be happy with one more room. Although my dream home is just a basic ranch on a basement. A basement alone would solve a lot! Anyway, we found several homes that we liked. 1 was brand new, but was a little out there..... 2 were lived in, both in nice neighborhoods, and 1 was empty, but would need a little work. WE can do the work! I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty! Stacy REALLY liked the house. We found a house in the same neighborhood about 2 years ago. It was a short sale, we even talked with a realtor about selling our house. I got scared, backed out, end of story. Who knows what will happen. I'm not going to get my hopes up at all. I do know that even if we bought ANY of the houses that we looked at, although we'd have a lot more room, we'd save a lot more money..... Hmmmm
After spending most of the afternoon driving from house to house, we let Micah choose were to go for supper. He chose The Flying Machine. It was perfect. We sat outside and were able to see 2 airplanes and a helicopter take off. Micah was in Heaven. He was outside, eating, and watching airplanes.
My experience, not so good! We hadn't been there very long before I got stung :( It hurt SO bad. It burned for the rest of the night....
Other than the sting we had a wonderful Saturday spending time with our little family :)

La Luna

We Love Mexican food and were really happy when a new Mexican place opened close to home. Our old favorite, went down hill. La Luna opened last year and has roof top seating. Micah has been wanting to sit on the roof so bad. Last Saturday was the perfect day to try out the roof. It was such a beautiful day, minus a little wind.
Enjoying the roof top
Just chilling
First tortilla chip

Day in the country

Since Micah was sick a couple of weeks ago, he ended up missing school for 2 days. When he finally wen back, I got the April calendar that let me know that the following week was spring break! I had NO idea! I didn't have ANY plans because it just came out of no where! We ended up going to the country on Monday to begin getting things read for the Easter Egg Hunt. Mama and Daddy were both there, as well as the Rosbury Clan. Micah played HARD the whole time. I blew leaves. When I say that I blew leaves, I mean it. I blew leaves for almost 5 hours straight. There were enough leaves to cover probably 5 football fields. I really enjoy yard work, so I'm not complaining. The day was perfect, and the help with Patton was just as nice. But Man, my arms sure were sore the next day. I really hoped to get some pics of people working, but I was too busy working to takes pics. Here are a few of my favs took during a water break.

Old Man

We had the pleasure of celebrating Stacy's 33rd birthday a couple of weeks ago. Stacy had the day off and we had hoped to spend the morning together (while Micah was at school) doing something fun, but we didn't. Micah was sick. Micah has allergies so we have gotten used to him having a runny nose, but when I picked him up that Monday, I knew he was not well. I wanted to surprise him and take him to one of his favorite places to eat. He LOVES Blessings Cottage. I could tell that he didn't feel good when he wasn't the least bit happy. I thought maybe a nap would help, it didn't. He woke up even worse. I ended up taking him to the Dr. He had sinusitis. He ended up vomiting 3 times during the night and on Stacy's birthday he was completely pitiful :( The poor guy stayed on the couch ALL day long! If you know Micah, he has a hard time staying still for 30 minutes, so I knew he was sick.
We knew that we had to eat, so we went back and forth as to whether or not we should go out to dinner or not. Micah REALLY thought that we should go. We ended up at Long Horns, but this is how Stacy ended up eating his meal. (Look closely and you'll see Micah lying in his lap) :(

At least Patton was happy. Micah was feeling okay when we got to Long Horns and he took a pic of the rest of us.
I used to be on top of things, but having Patton has changed me. I used to have birthday presents months before the actual birthday, but recently I've been shopping the day before, or on the day of the party. In this case, I knew what I thought I'd get Stacy, but then Micah got sick and I ended up giving him 2 pairs of shoes and a dress shirt. He was happy.
We celebrated with the fam this past Sunday. We had a yummy cookie cake compliments of Daph, and yummy homemade ice cream compliments of Nut. Stacy totally racked up at his party. He got some more dress shirts, home depot, and itunes cards.

March thus far

So I have my big camera, my little camera that lives in my purse, and my iphone camera. While taking pics this morning on my little camera, I realized that there were a lot of thins that happened this month that I thought I'd recap. First off the new Kroger opened close to our house. We went, loved it. After church one Sunday we couldn't help but stop for a pic with the Wiener Mobile. :) So fun!
I decided to include this one just because I love it.
Here is Micah teaching P to use an ipod :)
One day Chili's had a coupon for buy one adult meal, get 2 kids free. Daddy, me, and All of the Rosburys minus Cary went for lunch. All of the kids were free, it was a fun trip! (Picture me next to Daph on the end)
Sweet picture of my boys all tuckered out after a day in the country.
Patton and Pamp-Pa. Patton loves his "Team Grandpa" outfit Daddy bought for him.
Micah and Mrs. Boswell on St. Patrick's Day. I Love it!
Trying on hats at Target :) I just loved him in this one.... I think I should buy it!
Micah loves playing with the neighbor kids. This is one of the newest things that he's picked up from them. I never knew anything about this growing up, but Stacy did. Somehow the kids stick water bottles on their bikes and when the tires hit the bottle it makes a loud sound. Micah does this and calls it his "motor bike."
Moonwalk season has been in full swing for over a month now. We've been staying pretty busy on the weekends. We even had two events during the week this week. One of or regular Chick-fil-As that we have the pleasure of doing business with celebrated their birthday on Thursday night. After we set up we decided to go out to eat. I snapped this pic of Daddy and Micah, another sweet pic if you ask me :)
So that's some of our March so far..... with one week to go.
