New addition

It seems like this is the time of year to make announcements about new additions. I have several friends who are adding to their families. So, I've got some news to share as well..... But first I'll give you a history lesson.....With Micah I had a very interesting pregnancy. I was sick all day most days for 30 weeks. He was born in the heat of summer (August 11) and cried 90% of the time until he was 4 months. He didn't take naps during the day until he was 7 months. (He did sleep all night long though) But what do you do with a 7 month old ALL DAY LONG? It seems like as soon as we got him settled and on some what of a schedule, he began to climb out of his crib. I was afraid that he would hurt himself (I broke my leg when I was little....climbing out of my crib) So we converted his crib into a toddler bed. He then fought sleep for days and slept in the floor when he did sleep....He cut back from 2 1/2- 2 hour naps a day to 1 1/2- 2 hour nap a day. He VERY Rarely ever sleeps through the night anymore (he's always been an awesome night sleeper...until now) and joins us normally between 2 and 4 to sleep in our bed. He is an uncomfortable boy to sleep with, tossing and turning, kicking and playing during the night. I need sleep! Micah is a very clumsy little man and trips over his own feet, other people's feet, and even air sometimes. He doesn't quite understand the word walk. He RUNS everywhere. He has been a joy to watch. I LOVE to see him learn new things. I have an awful memory, I wish that I could have a video camera taping him 24/7....but I can't. He is at my favorite stage so far. He walks (runs), talks, and understands EVERYTHING. (If only he would use the potty) He also repeats what he hears. Therefore don't say anything, you don't want repeated. I may be a little biased, but I think Micah is the smartest, cutest, little 24 month old boy that I know. :)
Anyway, on to our Very Exciting announcement.....I am so sorry that I am sharing this with the whole blogging world, before I have even told my family, but here goes.....Stacy and I have been expecting for 3 months now and delivered our new addition last night! Take a look and the proud new big brother!
LOL I, unlike my friends, can not blame my weight on my baby.... I grew my baby outside in the yard....and man was it tasty....how many of you can say that about your babies?
Now for your viewing pleasure....Micah enjoying being back outside after all of the rain we had last week. He is a hoot!

Your new pics are so cute! You really had me anticipating the news of a new "arrival". The watermelon baby just made me giggle. School is GREAT! I wasn't sure how it would go for either of us, but I only have positive things to say so far. Being by myself for a few hours is heavenly! Ryder's backpack came from l.l. bean. It's the junior backpack. Have a good weekend!

Okay, this has nothing to do with your latest post, but I was just watching "UGA and his family" on Sports South and saw you, Stacy, and Michah on TV!!! They were showing video clips from picture day and you guys were standing in line. I noticed your wave immediately! Just thought you may want to know that you are a celebrity!
