Micah's Turn

After spending all kinds of time shopping for and making things for Patton's party, Micah wanted to go so bad. I felt bad. I went to his teacher and mentioned the party. She said that he probably wouldn't miss much and that I should check him out early. Being that the party was in the morning, I decided that he would just go to school. I wanted to do something fun for his class though. I found out that not only is Halloween "Career Dress Up Day" at his school, but it's also a little girl's birthday. She was bringing cupcakes. I decided that since I don't watch Riley on Friday, that would be the best day. So as soon as I finished at the little kids party, Aiden came to my house. She kept P while I went to Micah's school. We made slime and ate pumpkin doughnuts. Everyone in the class had so much fun!

Here are the supplies- complete with ziplock bags that say "Slime. Do NOT eat"

Working on the slime.

Ethan liked to be a slime head.

Isn't Bailey a cutie?

This little boy is something else. He reminds me a lot of the little boy from the TV show The Middle.

What Micah did with his slime. Boo!

I really enjoyed working with Micah's class. It kind of, just a little bit made me miss working at a school..... But as soon as I got home and saw my Sweet P, I forgot it all. I LOVE being home with him. I think this has been one of my favorite years of my life so far. We'll see where my life leads me, but for now I'm good. I'm really good.

Halloween Party

One day Sarah suggested that I throw a Halloween party for our children at my house. I was game, until we started talking about all of the people that we could invite. A lot of our friends either stay at home or have part time jobs, most have little people under 3, so before I knew it, there were a ton of children. My house is tiny. So we ended up deciding to have a party at Heather's house instead. Most of the people who were invited came, some couldn't, but we had a nice big crowd. We had a craft, a game, and a whole lot of food. Everyone had a great time. I think the 3 of us did a great job working together to plan a party. It was fun, Heather already wants to throw another!

Pumpkin Patch

I honestly have been to the pumpkin patch 3 times this year! The first time just Patton and I headed to Washington Farms. One afternoon I didn't have Riley and P woke up early from his nap. We went to Watkinsville just so that I could get a couple of pics.

We also ended up going to Corndawgs this year to try out their farm activities. I had heard rave reviews and thought we should try it out. They have a TON to offer as far as activities go, for the money it was great..... But I LOVE Washington Farm's Real Pumpkin Patch. So if we do go to Corndawgs again next year, I'll still go to Washington for pics:) Mama was the only one who came along with us this year, but even she had fun. She went down the slide a couple of times, and even rode the cow train. We had a great time!

By the time we made it to the corn maze it was close to (past) lunch time, so we opted for the kid's maze. It was fun and thankfully took less than 10 minutes, as opposed to an hour :) We all had a great time and will probably go back next year :)
Oh yeah, there was a third trip too. I thought it would be fun to take Riley. So one afternoon I took him and Patton in hopes to get some sweet pictures.... I got some pictures, but none that I loved.

Family Day

We had a Blast at the aquarium, but Stacy was so sad that he couldn't go due to work. He was off on Wednesday, so we decided to do something fun as a family. I gave Stacy a list of 6 things that I thought would be fun for both Micah and Patton. We ended up heading to Gainesville. After a delicious lunch at Cheddar's, (a place Stacy has been wanting to try,) We headed to the INK museum. When I described it to Micah he was excited, when he actually got inside he was SUPER excited. He had a Blast! We spent close to 3 hours visiting business after business. At the end of our trip I asked Micah what he liked the best he said the store, the post office, and the Diner (which was not surprising since he plans to be a restaurant owed when he grows up) He also liked the bank a whole lot.
Future Mail Man?

Diner owner?

Court Recorder?

Worker bee at the grocery store?

Take a look at Patton's cart! 3 cartons of ice cream! LOL

Patton kept going back to the talking hen. It SO reminded me of the ones they used to have at grocery stores when I was little!
What a fun day! We ended the day by putting the boys to bed early after they both missed naps and we laughed at our free RedBox rental of "Dinner with the schmucks."
The rest of our fall break was simple. Thursday, we mostly stayed home. Friday we hung out with Brayden and Noah. Saturday Stacy spent the day with the boys while I did moonwalks with Daddy. Sunday, more moonwalks.....And back to school today. 5 weeks until Thanksgiving break!
