After being sick for 19 weeks, I am finally myself again. The Robinson family has been through A LOT during the past few months, but after taking a week to catch up on a little house work and having a little fun family time together, I think I am ready to begin to blog again. I do not plan to bore you with any stories from "while I was sick," I'm just going to move on and share some happy things. I got well just in time for Micah's Easter Egg hunt at his school. All of the M-F classes were invited and probably 75? kids showed up. There were 1000 eggs hidden in Mrs. Scott's yard. I was just sure Micah would get a lot of eggs, he was SO excited and couldn't wait. The Easter bunny came to visit and Micah Loved that!
The kids waited patiently until the whistle was blown, and off they went.
Micah did not get half as many eggs as I expected. I thought that he would rack up. He didn't, I caught him taking 4 out of his basket and putting them back on the ground, when I asked him what he was doing he told me, "the pink and purple ones were for the girls." I tried to explain that eggs were eggs, no matter the color, but it was too late, the poor guy only got 12 eggs. Maybe better luck next time :)
Micah began the count down to Easter at 5 days. He was SO excited. Every morning he as soon as he woke up he told me how many days there were left. For the second hunt of the year he was a little more prepared, Stacy tried to train him. He was just sure he was going to win and let everyone know that he had the most eggs (which was far from true.) He came in 3rd out of 5 for the little kids. We all had a great time spending time with our family and eating yummy food (since I can eat again.) Here are a couple more pics, stay tuned because I hope to be doing some more blogging real soon :)
