Picture day at UGA is only one of my favorite days of the year, next to my birthday, Christmas, my anniversary, the day the pool opens....the list goes on. Anyway Picture Day was last Saturday. Stacy arrived extra early (4:00 am) for an Uga ticket and some of our friends shared a Mark Richt ticket with us, so we had the best of both worlds. When anyone asks me what the day consists of and I tell people exactly what it is...waiting in line after line after line, hoping to get some good autographs and or pics. It turns into a really long day. We saw several of our friends and had a lot of fun.
The first half of our day was spent waiting for Uga pictures. We ended up being 6th in line and Micah was so excited to see the newest Uga. He was so tired and had his eyes closed, Micah was a hoot trying to open his eyes.
As soon as we walked out of Uga's room, Micah asked, "Are the cheerleaders out?" I told him that I didn't know, but as soon as we walked down the ramp, whom should we see but a group of cheerleaders. He was so excited, but got shy very quickly :)
Then we saw Hairy! Micah had asked me before we even got to Athens to not be in his Hairy picture. (I had to be at the G Day game) He told me that he wanted to see Hairy by himself. He cracks me up!
Not only does Micah (unlike Stacy or myself) not like to sleep, but he has been doing some MAJOR sleep fighting recently. But after such a long day of waiting in lines, Micah was worn out. Stacy pushed him in his stroller for a few minutes, and he just crashed. I could count the number of pictures that I own of Micah sleeping, I don't have very many at all. So I take as many as I can if I ever catch him sleeping.
His nap lasted just over an hour and a half. I ended up waking him up so that he could meet Coach Mark Richt. We just love this guy. We had a blast and can't wait for football to begin!!!

Looks like everyone had fun and you got some great pics!
the 1st pic of micah is hiliarious!
Micah's a hoot! I can just imagine your stories... prying the dog's eyes open, getting shy when the cheerleaders came, asking to be alone with Hairy. It sounds like you had a great time.
