Bubble Gum

Saying that I was excited about Micah's Bubble gum party, would be an understatement. I was ecstatic! Planning began for this party at least 2-3 months ago. Micah said that he wanted to have a "Curious George, Bubble gum, Water slide party." We went with bubble gum, due to the fact that he had a George party last year, and to tell you the truth, I just didn't want to set up the slide. Through a friend of mine, I was able to find a lady who said she could make me the cake that I wanted at an affordable price. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and this is what she made me!
Here is some of the other decor.
I made a sign, and all. Ms. Martha was my personal photographer for the evening and I think she did a Great job, hence the large number of pics on this post. I had a Really hard time choosing! I LOVE all the action shots she got of people jumping. Don't you love my new camera?

We had several games. The first one was to guess the number of gum balls in the jar. There were 90, Daph guessed 83 and won! The next game was to create a "gum person" with the Curious George bag full of different gum pieces, toothpicks, and glue dots. That one was fun! Then I hid a piece of gum under cool whip on a plate, and using only your face, you had to find the gum, and be the first to blow a bubble. Lastly we passed gum balls down the line on spoons. I had a prize table and everyone got to choose their own fun prizes.
We had a GREAT time! I am finally rested enough (I think) to be able to make this post. I Loved this party, but now it's time to begin planning Patton's! I can hardly believe I'm about to have a 1 year old AND and 5 year old!!! Enjoy the last few pictures of my BIG boy!
