Legoland Discovery Center

Our little family plus Laura minus Ms. Martha and Hannah at the last minute, went to The Legoland Discovery Center at Phipps Plaza yesterday. We had Such a fun time! I know we'll have to go back again. I have always loved Legos and have been wanting to go to Legoland since it opened. Not very long ago Micah said that we were the only ones who haven't been. It made me sad. I take him places all of the time so I wanted to take him there too. When Ms. Martha mentioned going, I was so excited. I got tickets online to save a couple bucks and we headed that way. When we got there we had to wait a few minutes before going in. I took a few pictures.....

When we got to go into the first room our guide walked us through the process in which Legos are made. So cool! Then you could stand on scales (scary) that would tell you how many lego bricks you weigh!

From that room, we waited in a 10 minute line for a ride. We all got to ride, even Patton. Our job was to shoot the bad guys with laser guns. We did good and saved the princess and the baby dragon :) After the ride we entered the sculpture area. There was a whole Georgia themed setup. This was my favorite other than the stadiums which were really cool too!

We Ooooed and Ahhhhed for a while and then entered the play area. There was another ride that Nut and Micah ended up riding. The cool thing was, for every line there were legos to play with while you waited. It made the wait seem a little shorter.

We worked on building cars for the race ramp while waiting on the 4Dmovie to begin. The movie was cute. Supposedly there are 3 movies, but due to the lines, we just saw one.

Then we played, played, played in the fun area.

We all had a great time. When asked what Micah's favorite thing was he replied "Everything." He loved it all! We ended the night at The Flying Biscuit.
