The News

When I was pregnant with Micah all I thought about for the first 20 weeks was whether we would have a boy or a girl. This time around, to tell you the truth I never even thought about it until week 19, when I became me again. I'll tell you what though, my first week well, I spent a lot of time wondering about the sex of this baby. Ever since Stacy told Micah we were having a baby, he just knew it was a baby sister. He wouldn't hear anything about the possibility that it was a brother. I talked to a lot of people who told me that children have intuition. People told me all kinds of stories about how as children they knew what their sibling would be, and stories about people's children knowing. Although I had absolutly NO idea what this baby was.
First thing yesterday morning was my appointment. Stacy and Micah came along too. We were so excited and at this point explained to Micah for the 100th time that God decides whether he'll have a brother or a sister, even though he heard this, I still don't think that he understood quite yet. I had my regular appointment and my Dr. asked if I had been scheduled for an ultrasound. I told him that I didn't know. Then he checked and found out that I wasn't. With Micah the Dr. scheduled me for all appointments and at my 20 week I found out the gender. So I guess I just assumed I would find out yesterday, but I didn't (at my doctor) I'm scheduled for an ultrasound for the 16th at my Dr's office.
When we left the office both Stacy and I were just plain out sad. How can you go from thinking that you're finding out the gender, to waiting another week and a half?!! I nearly cried until I thought of a solution.... I used my iphone to google 3d ultra sounds. I called Images from the Womb and was SOO Happy when I was able to make an appointment for yesterday afternoon. I'll tell you what, after the rough time I've time, yesterday was just plain out wonderful! We had a wonderfully enjoyable experience and would highly reccomend it to everyone. It didn't hurt that we got a ton more than we paid for. Our baby was all wrapped up and hiding for the first few minutes but finally showed Himself to us. We're so excited to be having another boy. I'm sure I'm meant to be a boys Mama! Micah has decided that his brother will be called "Onion Ring," if it had been a sister she'd have been "French fry." Take a look at our little Onion Ring!

I'm back!

After being sick for 19 weeks, I am finally myself again. The Robinson family has been through A LOT during the past few months, but after taking a week to catch up on a little house work and having a little fun family time together, I think I am ready to begin to blog again. I do not plan to bore you with any stories from "while I was sick," I'm just going to move on and share some happy things. I got well just in time for Micah's Easter Egg hunt at his school. All of the M-F classes were invited and probably 75? kids showed up. There were 1000 eggs hidden in Mrs. Scott's yard. I was just sure Micah would get a lot of eggs, he was SO excited and couldn't wait. The Easter bunny came to visit and Micah Loved that!
The kids waited patiently until the whistle was blown, and off they went.
Micah did not get half as many eggs as I expected. I thought that he would rack up. He didn't, I caught him taking 4 out of his basket and putting them back on the ground, when I asked him what he was doing he told me, "the pink and purple ones were for the girls." I tried to explain that eggs were eggs, no matter the color, but it was too late, the poor guy only got 12 eggs. Maybe better luck next time :)
Micah began the count down to Easter at 5 days. He was SO excited. Every morning he as soon as he woke up he told me how many days there were left. For the second hunt of the year he was a little more prepared, Stacy tried to train him. He was just sure he was going to win and let everyone know that he had the most eggs (which was far from true.) He came in 3rd out of 5 for the little kids. We all had a great time spending time with our family and eating yummy food (since I can eat again.) Here are a couple more pics, stay tuned because I hope to be doing some more blogging real soon :)

I have not being feeling very well at all. I go back to the doctor on Tuesday and I hope that he'll be able to help me somehow, meanwhile I'm trying to make it day by day. My sweet Daddy thought that maybe if I had something to keep my busy (Other than Micah) that I'd begin to feel better. So he went and bought me the materials needed to learn how to knit. And this is what I made. A tiny little hat for a baby. Cute huh? Who in the world would have ever thought that I'd make something like this?

Snow day

For the first time in a long time, I was actually glad that it snowed. I don't know, I'm one of those people who would rather live somewhere that is between 55 and 80 year round. I don't like the cold, I dislike Having to wear pants because it's cold. This year I have been extra cold. For nearly 3 months now I have spent the majority of my days just shivering away. Who knows. Anyway, Micah was So cute on Friday, at lunch he was talking about the snow and how bad he wanted it to snow and he got up from the table walked to the window and said "God please make it snow." So mostly for his sake, I hoped that it would. We got a good 4 inches, nothing like our 6 last March, but not bad if you ask me.
On Friday Stacy was off and was able to play in the snow with us. Micah's favorite thing to to was play on his playset and be a penguin on the slide.
We stayed out for a good bit on Friday, and the only reason for coming inside was the bright red color of Micah's cheeks. We had plans to warm up with hot chocolate and go back outside, but plans changed once we got inside. So you know exactly what Micah wanted to do first thing Saturday morning. We went back outside and played played played. What I am most happy about is, it really wasn't that cold. I bundled up the same as I normally would for the snow, and broke out in a sweat while working on our snowman. What do you think? Stacy is most proud of his ears :)
I'm trying to catch up on old times, there are 2 more posts below. Enjoy!

Maggie's Party (Trying to catch up)

Maggie, who is one of Micah's buddies at school just had a birthday party. She was the first one all year who's had a party and invited the whole class, so we didn't want to miss out. Plus the party was at Monky Joes and we've never been there. We've had NO need to go, I mean we own all kinds of inflatables, I have a hard time thinking about spending money for Micah to go jump, when we could set up something in our own yard for free. Anyway, party= free, so we were there. Plus I love Maggie and her mom! Micah loved it and was so happy to see his that a lot of his friends came. He played SO hard.
Here's the birthday girl. Isn't she cute?
Here's a small group from the class.

Valentine's Day Party

I love Valentine's Day, it may only be a Halmark holiday, but I think it's fun to see people show their love for one another, even if only for one day out of the year :) Micah's class had their Valentine's party last week and we had a fun time. I brought our cotton candy machine and made pink cotton candy for the whole school. The kids LOVED it, some parents didn't, so I was the most loved and the most disliked person at the party. Come on, a little sugar can't be that bad! The owners at the school told me that in the 30+ years of the school being in business, that was the first time they'd Ever had cotton candy. I think over all it was a hit. The kids had so much fun!
Here they are patiently waiting for the party to begin.
Here's Micah with just some of his loot :)
Hitting the Valentine's Day Pinata
And Mrs. Scott with Micah :) Love her!

Robinson News

Major Thank you to Facebook because most of you already know the "Robinson News." We are having another baby. To tell you the truth we all are a little.... make that Lot surprised. Since Micah turned what a week, I was sure that I would not have another child, well God had other plans. I decided on Christmas day that I was pregnant when I had heartburn. I have never experienced heartburn in my life except when I was pregnant with Micah. I told Stacy that I thought I was probably pregnant to which he just laughed.
Two days later when my symptoms hadn't gotten any better, I sneekily bought a test from Wal-Mart. By now I was sure I was pregnant, but the question still is how. Anyway in less than 10 seconds the test proved what I knew to already be true..... Pregnant! I told Stacy to come and see and we just stared in awe. Both knowing that God has something planned that we don't anything about, we went through a period of stress. I cried a WHOLE lot. During this time I also began vomiting. This may be TMI, but keep in mind this is also for my own records for my blog book. For 3 weeks I was VERY sick, I could hardly make it through the day and sometimes thought I would die. I threw up EVERYTHING I injested. I lost 8 pounds and was near dehydration when the Dr. called my in a prescription for a very strong anti-nausia medication. It began to work wonderfully, but I Hated the side effects. At first it caused me to be very dizzy. I don't like that feeling at all! It also causes major drowsiness. As if I wasn't tried enough anyway! I laid off taking the med unless I really felt like I needed it. Then I went from 24-7 sickness to 24-7 sleepiness. My day would consist of waking up in the morning, getting Micah ready for school, taking him to school (20 mins from home) I would have to stop on the way home to rest my eyes for a little bit. Once I made it home I would sleep until time to pick him up from school, then pick him up, fix him lunch and put him in his room so that I could sleep again. I couldn't stay awake for more than 1 1/2- 2 hours, hince No blogging. I would go to bed between 4:30- and 7:00 depending on if sweet Stacy was home and sleep until 7:00 the next morning, just to do it all again!
I discussed all of this with my doctor yesterday hoping he had a miracle vitamin to give me energy, but not keep my up at night, he didn't. He told me that "normally people are Either sick OR tried," and that I got the worst of both. Then he told me that because I didn't take the medicine regularly, that was my problem. He said that when I was taking all of the time the drowsiness wore off, but when I began taking it sporatically, I was Always sleepy. So day number one of NO medicine, I only threw up once, and only took one nap (45 mins) I do plan on going to bed soon.
As of right now we're being told that I am 12 weeks 4 days and that I'm due August 22nd! Another August baby! Until yesterday I was having more of a hard time, then I saw those little feet kicking and a little tiny arm rubbing it's face, it'll be alright I'm sure of it!
